Khimbits: Collectable

A Female Spectacled Kermode found in the Forest in November 2015

There are a few different ways to get khimbits. Every month, there is a set of four colors in male and female versions that are free to find. Three of them are available in one of the foraging areas; this changes monthly when the current khimbits are released, but it is always announced in the news.

Additionally, there’s a chance for a male or female khimbit of a fourth color to follow you home after you post in the forums. If you’re an upgraded user, you can also find a fifth pair when you play dice.

A Demon Werebeast from a Monthly pack

Currently, monthly treasures do not contain any Khimbits. Any monthly pack before April 2014 can contain a special Cash Shop khimbit.

Breedable Khimbits

If you’re an upgraded user, you’ll have the ability to breed khimbits. Only forageable khimbits as well as those found through the dice game and the forums are breedable. If a particular khimbit has an assigned gender such as a female wolf cerbie, then in general, that species and color of khimbit is breedable. Exceptions include custom khimbits and “baby” versions of khimbits such as Panthira Cubs, which may have genders but are not breedable. Keep in mind that only certain khimbits will actually breedable at any given time.

Generation 1 khimbits are those you find while foraging, posting on the forums, or playing dice. Generation 2 are obtained by breeding Generation 1 khimbits. The two generations will have different appearances. Khimbits that are currently breedable will be announced in the news as they get switched out. You can find the khimbit breeding page in the Meadow. The combinations will vary from set to set: sometimes you will need to breed the same breed of Generation 1, such as woolabits with woolabits, but other times there will be two different breeds that make a whole new generation two. Keep in mind that these rotate out just like the other collectable khimbits. While unique and collectables will be the same breed, breedable khimbits are not.
