You may be wondering what has been happening the badlands these past couple of months. Well, it's been an extremely hot, dry, and dusty summer... and there are a LOT of saloons in the badlands that had to be searched very thoroughly for signs of combustion! >_>; At first their fellow patrons remained wary of the two strangers, but once Onyx arranged for a courier line of hummingwhuts to bring a steady supply of trinkets from Arabasti's hoard... I mean from the bank... to buy rounds of um... prickly pear juice.... for the locals, they eventually loosened up and began to speak more freely.
