Advertise khimeros and win great prizes! This is a very simple contest where points are counted in a single way. The contest will run for one month's time, and you will receive one point for every user NOT in your own household who are still active on the site two weeks after the contest ends. To gain a point, new users MUST include your username (not login name) in the referral box when signing up for the site. Only ONE account per person, new users who create multiple accounts will be disqualified for points for their sponsor! You can advertise any way you like that does not violate other sites' rules! Post a blog or twitter entry, make a post on facebook or instagram, post on other petsites or discord servers, etc., just make sure that you READ and FOLLOW the rules when using other sites. Anyone found to be violating the rules on other sites, spamming, etc. will be banned from the contest! You cannot "hog" any given site or resource all to yourself. So, for example, if you are the first person to post about khimeros on a given petsite and their rule is that there can only be one thread per game in their forums, other khimeros users may also help bump that board and include their usernames for potential users to choose from. Remember that the point is to attract new users to the site, so be your best self when posting and don't get in fights or arguments with other khimeros users or people on other sites ^^. You may use any khimeros art for the purpose of advertising, but please keep it tasteful and don't post rude or potentially offensive decos, even if you think they are funny ;) DO's -mention highlights of the site like the welcome gift, 140+ pet bases, vast variety of khimbits and deco, ability to earn custom pet creation items via site events, etc. -use images that illustrate these highlights -obey all rules of the site you are posting on -Be your best self -Be sure that potential users are aware of the one account per person rule -Let potential users know that the site is best experienced on a desktop or laptop computer using chrome or firefox DON'T's -don't be rude or argumentative to khimeros members or members of other sites -don't try to keep any given site or resource all for yourself -don't create multiple accounts to earn points -don't encourage others to create multiple accounts -don't break rules on other sites in order to gain points, or create spam or otherwise annoy other sites' users or staff -don't post offensive or tasteless decos, even if you think they are funny! ............................................. PRIZES will depend on the number of entrants and number of points earned, but top prizes may include things like deluxe custom khimera pairs (your choice of any patterns, variations, enigma, etc), master items, gold item recolors, and more! We will be releasing some pools of unique khimbits priced at only 2 beads each! Once we have finished releasing the 'bits, a bit-to-khim event will follow (for 'bits from these pools only) at the low price of 15 beads each! For new users, a "pool" of unique khimbits is a set of khimbits that are all hand-colored, with no two exactly the same. You can find the event pools by checking out the World link in the main navigation bar. When you purchase a unique 'bit, you can display them in your den and also use them as deco! A banner in the event shop will tell you if khimbits are NOT currently dropping. It is not abnormal to see an empty shop, as only one khimbit will drop per interval. The interval can be 1-5 minutes depending on the pool. Occasionally we'll have a quick-release pool where all khimbits are added at one time. Depending on the popularity of a given pool, you may have to be very quick to grab a khimbit as soon as it drops. In some cases you may see khimbits sticking around the shop for longer, depending on their popularity, the time of day, etc. Khimbit-to-Khimera events are where you can hand over a unique khimbit, pay a fee, and have that unique 'bit turned into an overlay for a qualifying khimera of your choice!      7 Comments |
