So, some of you may have been around the Lounge/Discord and seen some of what has been going on today, and to boil it way down, the first attempt to migrate has failed. We are pretty unhappy with the performance of the new host and have opted not to use them as they simply don't seem to know what they are doing. However, we have found a lovely new host who is going to make the migration process much, much smoother for us. As of now you can RESUME playing khimeros normally. Migration will be going on in the background. When migration is complete, there may be a short downtime of a few hours or a day at most to sync the latest data, but there should not be another major downtime (knock on wood) Our new host may also be able to help out with some small things to improve the performance of the site like a DISCARD FEATURE for items in inventory, so let's hold out some hope for that ^^. In light of how things have gone down, I am going to simply be giving out the 3 Days of Giftmas items to ALL users who have recently been active on the site! I will post news when this has happened. And stay tuned for more holiday festivities! Be sure that you log in on Christmas Day at some time in order to be eligible for a SPECIAL GIFT!!! CRITICAL NEWS POST We're still migrating, but it's taking longer than expected. I have asked the server company if we can resume playing and have them sync data AFTER they've moved the rest of the site, but we have to WAIT on the reply for that. In the meantime, DO NOTHING ON THE SITE THAT INVOLVES TRANSACTIONS. That means foraging, buying stuff, doing quests, breeding khimeras, rolling dice etc. If in doubt, ASK STAFF. You can however, chat in the Lounge, view and talk in the forums, deco if you don't mind possibly losing your deco once we are moved over, etc. This is in effect until there is a news post to SPECIFICALLY tell you otherwise. We may also go back on maintenance at some point. The temporary Discord server is still active and you can still access it using the link posted in a previous news post.
