Heyo! The name's Nimarkiva, but you can call me Nim or Nima, I'm even fine with Nimar, since the last two are abbreviations I've picked up here. Usually I go by Nim, though.

My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, baking, cooking, photography, jewelry making, and other such artistic endeavors. For work, many of my hobbies are also what I do for a living. I live with my mom and my beloved little 'oops baby' brother, so I tend to keep weird/late hours while doing my college work, taking care of a much younger sibling while my mom works, and my own work from home, which often involves a computer.

I have a special fondness for Esperi. If you're looking to sell or trade one, or are willing to set up breedings, just let me know! :)

I'm ever on the lookout for a chrysalis of any sort, for my bat project. It's in my "Beloved Bats" group if you want to take a look and see what that's all about.

It’s been a while since my last journal update. I lost my journal on our travels, and just now got it back. A very nice person found it and mailed this back to me. Things have been going well the past few months. My two shylvaen boys are doing well, and I’ve learned about more about hylkan as well. Brody, Jonathan, and Kohasu all seem pretty happy. They’ve settled into the house well. Kohasu and Jonathan have even found work in the area. The two of them are mostly doing small jobs for the farmers around us, but hey, it’s something. Brody is Brody, meaning always adorable, and usually found hanging out where I’m working if he can.

I decided we all needed a break, so I rented a lovely lodge for the Boreal festival. My thought was that the others would enjoy the festival up in the mountains. Everything is so pristine and rustic. Kohasu is in seventh heaven. He still has a thing against shoes, but no one seems to mind, so that isn’t hurting anything.

The day went well. The boys enjoyed playing with the khimbits in the lake near the lodge, while Kohasu and his Wyvir familiar Ijana were meditating quietly. I keep finding all sorts of runestones in the area, which is nice, since those can be traded for fun items. There’s a fun little minstrel sprite by the name of Kigan who has had a great time with Brody since the boy appreciates his music. Jonathan is the same, being an art fanatic and music lover himself. The tiny wanderer just may end up coming with us at the rate he’s been going. Honestly, that’s not a bad thing, his music is lovely and it isn’t like we don’t have plenty of space for him at the house.

For now the boys are sleeping. Kohasu is on the roof, but he’ll likely come down when he’s ready to sleep. I’m looking forward to seeing what else the festival has to offer, so far it has been great.

Now that I have my journal back, I’ll be updating again. More tomorrow, for now, I need some sleep. It was a long day, but fun.
