Kai and Tai's Un-Excellent Adventure - Lost in Creepy Hollow! By Onyx! (#OVERLORD) on 30th of October, 2016 16:27
It seems that Fluffy is not the only one currently on an adventure! On a beautiful October day, Kai and Tai were out in the forest gathering some items for Lin and Thimble. They were raking in a good haul of items and feeling that they nearly had enough to return home in time for Tea, when Kai suddenly noticed something out of the corner of his eye. There, in an opening dug under the roots of a gnarly old tree, was a strange hanging figure of twigs bound with vines. And behind it... a tunnel! Looking closer, they saw that there were stone stairs leading down into darkness... "COOL!" screamed Kai. "Creepy," whispered Tai. "Let's go inside!" cried Kai. "Let's go HOME!" whispered Tai. But poor Tai knew that since he wouldn't leave his reckless brother to get himself into trouble with no one to drag him out of it, he was about to be sucked into yet another unwanted adventure! And sure enough, before he could say another word, Kai sprang lightly down onto the stairs and padded down into the darkness. Sighing, Tai followed behind, his ears drooping. When they reached the bottom of the stairs they realized that the tunnel was the entrance to one of the many portals that dotted the land around Khimeros Central. For before them they could see, shrouded in portal mist, a creepy forested hollow! And Tai could tell from the look on his brother's face that they weren't going to be getting home in time for Tea! ................................................................................................................. And sure enough, before he could say another word, Kai sprang lightly down onto the stairs and padded down into the darkness. Sighing, Tai followed behind, his ears drooping.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs they realized that the tunnel was the entrance to one of the many portals that dotted the land around Khimeros Central. For before them they could see, shrouded in portal mist, a creepy forested hollow! And Tai could tell from the look on his brother's face that they weren't going to be getting home in time for Tea!

Sorry for the delay guys, but I seem to have become victim to this nasty flu that's going around! As some of you have no doubt noticed, we have an awesome new grimm-likos hybrid, the khitsune! This is a default base, not an alternate, meaning that this is the default base that you will get when breeding grimm with likos. To celebrate, hybrid chrysalids will be on sale for 20 beads for the next two weeks, that's a 5 bead savings! Grimm chrysalids will also be on sale for the next two weeks! Get them while you can! Grimm chrysalids are 15 beads each. .................................................................................................... Fall Gold Custom orders are now open!!! This will run through until the end of December/early January. This time around we have a special bonus! 1 gold custom for the regular price of 65 beads, or for an additional 40 beads you will receive a second recolored or edited version of your original custom! Underlay included (usual gold custom/underlay rules apply). If you wish to claim a bonus, please have 40 beads on hand and create a help desk report requesting your bonus (you will need to include a link to the underlay you wish to use and have all items needed to create the underlay base on hand). You may request a color or colors, but are not guaranteed to get the color you choose, it will depend on what the artist feels works with the custom. You can order as many bonus recolors of your gold custom as you like! You may not suggest things that would require additional or changed line art (such as wings/accessories/etc.). This does not guarantee that your suggestion will be used, nor have it exactly as you say, but it will hopefully give Hibbary a closer idea to what you're looking for. If you have them, you may use Accessory Custom Tokens with your order to obtain lineart edits! If you wish to use accessory tokens (up to 4 per order) you must state this in the suggestions box, and state how many you wish to use. The accessory tokens must be in your inventory when you order, and will be removed when your order is processed. You may use Gold Choice Tokens to order a Gold Khitsune, but these orders MUST be submitted via Help Desk! You can view all of the rules for gold custom ordering in the Gold Custom FAQ thread. Due to USD remaining very high against other world currencies, we're going to try to even the playing field a little bit more. Currently if you buy at least 20 beads you are eligible for the outside-US bonus of one bead per string of beads purchased. From now on, we're giving you an added bonus if you buy 50 beads or more at one time. When purchasing 50 beads at one time, outside-US users will now receive TWO bonus beads per string. So the bonus schedule looks like this: 1-3 strings of beads (5 - 15 beads): no bonus 4-9 strings of beads (20 - 45 beads): one bonus bead per string 10+ strings (50+ beads): two bonus beads per string As always, you must post a help desk report when you purchase beads, including the number of beads purchased and the country purchased from, as well as the email associated with the paypal account used to purchase the beads. Due to USD remaining very high against other world currencies, we're going to try to even the playing field a little bit more. Currently if you buy at least 20 beads you are eligible for the outside-US bonus of one bead per string of beads purchased. From now on, we're giving you an added bonus if you buy 50 beads or more at one time. When purchasing 50 beads at one time, outside-US users will now receive TWO bonus beads per string.

There seems to be some confusion so I would like to re-iterate - as posted in the original news post - you will not receive your bead bribery items automatically when purchasing beads: "You will need to submit a SINGLE help desk which you will UPDATE as you purchase beads throughout the event, and rewards will be handed out and noted on this help desk report." So make sure that when you purchase beads, you post a help desk report in order to get your items. If there is any confusion about what to do, please read the entire instructions near the top of the Bead Bribery news post. Regarding Onyx Random Customs from your bonus token when purchasing a FU upgrade - please be sure that as per the news post, you send the token to Onyx! #10 (NOT Onyx #1) via transfer. The token will sit in transfers until your order is complete. You must send your token by the end of October in order to receive your custom! 8 Comments
